The Arizona Legislature adjourned Sine Die early yesterday evening. I’m working on scheduling a Coffee with Kate to do a comprehensive Legislative Wrap Up for the district. Keep your eyes peeled for the invitation.

Kate Brophy McGee Wins LD28 Senate Race

Late Friday elections officials pre-final vote count in the LD28 Senate race. Thanks to you and your support, I am honored and excited to report that I am the Senator-Elect from LD28. When the last few ballots were tallied, 98,560 ballots were cast in the race. I finished ahead of my opponent by 2,312 votes, earning 51.17% of the total. Thank you for your caring support and concern while we all await the final outcome of the LD28 State Senate and House races. In Maricopa County, 450,000 mail-in ballots and 55,000 provisional ballots are not yet counted.
