Early voting began in Arizona yesterday. Many of you will come home to early ballots in your mailboxes. I have been blessed to have your support in the past and now, more than ever, I would appreciate your support for me in the Arizona State Senate.

This election has been the most difficult and challenging of my life. I decided to run for State Senate because I believe government should work for its citizens. Many times we believe the gap between Republicans and Democrats is too large to bridge. I’m proud of my Republican values, while having the ability to reach across the aisle and keep good sound laws coming out from the Capitol.

I get things done.

That is a critical difference between me and my opponent. During my time in the House of Representatives, I worked tirelessly to pass dozens of bills to improve the lives of Arizonans. My opponent hasn’t had the same success…in fact, he has never passed a bill.

I am proud of my record of accomplishments. If you elect me your State Senator, I will continue build on my record which includes:

♣ Passing legislation providing life-saving care to over 300 uninsured women diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer.
♣ Leading the charge to pass KidsCare, which restored healthcare coverage to 30,000 children from low-income families.
♣ Fighting for restoration of funding to K-12 education, including the successful passage of Prop 123.
♣ Spearheading the effort to create the new Department of Child Safety reporting directly to the Governor.
♣ Advocating for increased transparency and more funding for the Department of Child Safety.
♣ Increasing services for our developmentally disabled.

I’d be honored to have your vote. Please remember to sign and return your early ballot. Also, please encourage your family, friends and neighbors in Legislative District 28 to Vote Kate, November 8. Even forwarding this email to five other voters would be appreciated. I would be honored to represent them too.
