Priorities

As your State Senator, I fight hard every day for you and what is important to our community. During my eight years in the Arizona Legislature, I have promoted policies that focus on economic growth, government streamlining and transparency, and establishing a pro-business environment so Arizona is remains one of the top states to start or expand a business.

Protecting Arizona children is my highest priority. I sponsored legislation creating the Department of Child Safety and led the charge to restore KidsCare. I also passed Angel’s Law to protect children from being placed in dangerous homes. I will continue working to protect vulnerable children while pursuing these other legislative priorities:

  • • Adequately funding K-12 education
  • • Investing in Arizona’s universities
  • • Ensuring a high-quality workforce
  • • Keeping taxes low
  • • Protecting our most vulnerable
  • • Increasing government transparency
  • • Securing the border
